A home for flag football development
We started Flag Training Football because of a gap every sports parent eventually notices: flag football keeps growing, but individual coaching hasn't kept up. Kids get a team, a jersey, and a schedule, and almost nobody teaches them, one-on-one, how to actually play.
Why we exist
Flag football is exploding in rec leagues, in travel programs, in schools, and all the way up to the Olympic stage. That growth is easy to see on any fall Saturday, just about anywhere in the country. What's harder to find is real skill development: a coach who watches one athlete, fixes one route, corrects one flag-pull angle, and builds on it the next week.
Facility programs exist, but they mean drives, waitlists, and shared attention. So we flipped the model: our coaches come to you. The backyard becomes the training ground, the driveway becomes the footwork lab, and training becomes something that fits a family's week instead of consuming it.
What we believe
- Courses, not punch cards. Development needs a plan with a beginning and an end. Our leveled courses are written session by session before anyone pays for one. QB work, tryout prep, and custom training get a plan built around the individual athlete.
- Honesty over hype. No fabricated reviews, no invented stats, no promises about making teams or earning scholarships. If a rec season is what your kid needs, that's what we'll tell you.
- Trust is structural. Background-checked coaches with real experience teaching kids. A parent or guardian always on the property. Coaches never inside the home, never transporting athletes, and all communication through company channels. That's the foundation, not a feature list.
- The kid sets the pace. A 7-year-old learning to catch and a 14-year-old prepping for tryouts deserve completely different sessions. That's why everything we teach runs in age bands and levels.
Where we train today
We train athletes at home nationwide. Request a session and we'll match your athlete with a vetted coach in your area.
We'd rather tell you that plainly than sell you a session we can't staff. If there's no coach near you yet, request one anyway: that request is exactly how we decide which market opens next.
Meet us in your driveway
Tell us about your athlete and we'll tell you honestly how we'd help. Prefer a quick call? Say so in the form and we'll call you.
