Advanced Flag Football Training

For athletes who already know the game and want to dominate it. Advanced training sharpens the details that rec-league practice never gets to: release moves, route deception, defensive reads, and situational IQ.

How it's packaged

Structured as a course

Taught as a leveled course in 8- or 16-session arcs by age band (9–10, 11–13, 14–17), with every session written in advance and building on the last. Athletes are placed by demonstrated level, not just age.

1-on-1

8-Session Course

$1,200

$150/session · 8 sessions

1-on-1

16-Session Course

$2,240

$140/session · 16 sessions

Paying online holds the spot and starts the coach match. Not ready yet? Request this program and we'll walk you through it first, no pressure. Two kids in the house? We can't verify siblings at checkout, so ask us before you pay and we'll apply it to your total. Ask us about it.

Who it's for

Is this your athlete?

  • Multi-season players who've plateaued at team practice
  • Athletes moving from rec into travel or tournament play
  • Players who want to own a position, whether receiver, rusher, or defender
  • Competitors who want honest, demanding coaching

Ages 5–17. Placement here depends on experience rather than age: athletes generally have at least two seasons of organized flag football, or equivalent tackle experience.

The curriculum

What athletes learn

Advanced route running

Double moves, tempo changes, leverage reads, and creating separation against tight coverage. The goal is winning the route, not just running the pattern.

Defensive reads and positioning

Reading the QB's eyes, understanding zone vs. man responsibilities, jumping routes, and turning defense into takeaways.

Situational football IQ

Down-and-distance decisions, clock awareness, and red-zone spacing. The mental game wins close games.

Explosive athleticism

Sprint mechanics, hip mobility, and change-of-direction work programmed for measurable speed and quickness gains.

Inside a session

How each session runs

Every session is a full 60 minutes.

01

Position-specific warm-up

Movement prep built around the athlete's position and the day's focus.

02

Detail blocks

High-rep technical work where coaches correct the inches, not just the outcome.

03

Pressure reps

Constraint drills that force decisions at game speed: contested catches, disguised coverage, must-convert downs.

04

Plan review

Progress is tracked session to session against the athlete's development plan.

At-home logistics

We bring everything

Your coach brings full equipment, including cones, flag belts, and game-weight footballs. The curriculum runs at your home, and your coach adapts drill spacing to the yard, driveway, and garage space you have.

A parent or guardian is always on the property during sessions. Coaches never enter the home (sessions run in the yard, driveway, or garage) and never transport athletes. Bad-weather sessions reschedule within a 14-day window.

Advanced Training FAQ

How do you know if my child is ready for advanced training?

Tell us their experience and goals when you reach out, and the first session confirms it. If beginner-to-intermediate work would serve them better, we'll say so and place them in the right program.

Can advanced training focus on one position?

Yes. Many athletes use it as receiver-specific or defense-specific training. QBs have their own dedicated program.

Does this help with travel team tryouts?

It builds the skill base. If a tryout is on the calendar, pair it with Tryout Prep, which targets the evaluation itself.

How is progress measured?

Coaches track skill benchmarks like route precision, catch rates in drills, and pursuit angles across sessions, and you get a straightforward read on what's improving and what's next.
