Long Island Flag Football Leagues
We're building a verified directory of flag football leagues across Nassau and Suffolk County, rec and travel, every age division. We only list leagues we've confirmed are real and active, so the directory starts small and grows honestly — starting on Long Island, our deepest market, and expanding from there.
The directory is being built
We're verifying leagues one at a time. Organizers, seasons, age divisions, and registration details all get checked before anything gets listed. No scraped listings, no stale links, no leagues that folded two seasons ago. Check back soon, or use the guides below to evaluate leagues you're already looking at.
How to evaluate a league
Rec vs. travel
Rec leagues take everyone and balance the rosters; travel teams hold tryouts and compete in tournaments. Match the league type to your athlete's level and your family's appetite for commitment, not to what other parents are doing.
Age divisions
Ask exactly how divisions are split and where the cutoff dates fall. A kid at the young end of a wide division has a very different season than one at the old end.
Seasons & logistics
Confirm when the season runs (fall and spring are both common on Long Island), where games are played, how many weeks you're committing to, and what the full cost includes before you pay.
Flag Training Football is not affiliated with any league listed unless otherwise stated.
Know a league we should list?
Parents: tell us about a league your family loves. League organizers: get your league listed. Verified listings are free.
Whatever league they join, we'll get them ready
League play is where the fun is. Training is where the improvement is. A structured at-home course makes any season better.
